Allotrope or Allotropic Form

An allotrope, or allotropic form, refers to the existence of an element in more than one molecular form. For instance, oxygen exists in two allotropic forms: diatomic oxygen (O2) and ozone (O3). Similarly, sulfur has several allotropic forms, including rhombic sulfur and monoclinic sulfur.
