Uresis
Synonyms or meaning of Uresis
The act of urinating or passing urine out of the body.
The term “Uresis” is a term that refers to the act of urination. It’s also known as micturition. This is the process of releasing urine from the body, which is a key part of the excretory system. The kidneys filter out waste and excess substances from the blood to form urine, which is then stored in the bladder. When the bladder is full, nerve signals are sent to the brain, triggering the urge to urinate. The bladder muscles contract while the sphincter muscles around the urethra relax, allowing urine to pass out of the body.
In some cases, the term “uresis” may also be used in the context of certain medical conditions related to urination. For example, “nocturnal enuresis” refers to involuntary urination that happens at night while sleeping, commonly known as bed-wetting.
