Entropy

Definition of Entropy from the PharmacyDictionary.in

Entropy

This is a thermodynamic measure of the disorder of molecules in a system; it’s also referred as energy of a process not available for work. It’s an example of increase in molecular disorder or entropy as a solid melts, and conversely, decrease in disorder or entropy as a liquid condenses to a solid; it’s measure of tendency for process from more ordered state to more chaotic state.
