Synonyms or meaning of Cyanosetardive

Cyanosis (a bluish discoloration of the skin due to poor blood oxygenation) that is slow to appear. This term is applied to a group of congenital heart diseases with an abnormal communication between the systemic and pulmonary circulations. Cyanosis is absent while the shunt is from left to right, but if the shunt reverses, as after exercise or late in the course of the disease, cyanosis appears.
